We are so excited to reveal that The Children’s Hospital Charity has been announced as our official charity partner.

We have had a relationship with The Children’s Hospital Charity for a number of years, raising an amazing £13,139 since 2021, and we are delighted that we have officially partnered.

To kick off their next fundraising effort, The Club will pull together a team of famous faces from Sky Sports News to take on Sheffield FC legends. The teams will come together at The Home of Football stadium to raise as much money as possible for Sheffield Children’s.

Speaking of the partnership, Richard Timms, The Chairman of Sheffield FC said:

"Sheffield FC, The World's First Football Club, are proud to become a preferred football partner for the Children's Hospital Charity. We have been working informally hosting golf days and football fundraisers over the past couple of years and now it's great to cement the partnership between our two historic Sheffield institutions".

Sheffield FC previously held a celebrity football match, with famous faces like Love Island’s Jake Cornish and Josh Ritchie, 2012 X Factor winner James Arthur, YouTubers Harry Pinero and Bailey May and ex-TOWIE cast members Dan Osborne, James Argent and Jake Hall.

Development Officer, Rob Gurruchaga, said:

“Sheffield Children’s is a special place, that changes lives every day. We are so excited about the possibilities this partnership with an institution like Sheffield FC can bring, to make things even better at Sheffield Children’s.” '

Keep your eyes peeled for the charity game dates!
