The World’s First welcome Lincoln United for the first game of 2022 down at the Tuffnells Home of Football Stadium (kick-off 3pm)

As we sit bottom of the league, Sam Wilkinson’s Lincoln United reside in 15th place, 4 places above. This will prove to be a crucial clash for Club as we look to get the ball rolling in the new year.

Last time these 2 teams competed was towards the end of August during Bank Holiday Monday where the teams fought out for a 2-2 draw.

Two goals from top scorer Marc Newsham including one in the last kick of the game, snatched a point for Sheffield from the resilient Lincoln.

Ryan Cresswell will have a fully fit squad for this encounter despite James Baxendale going off during the Stockbridge game last Monday.

Club will be wearing their white away kit to support Shelter's #NoHomeKit initiative to raise the profile of homelessness this Christmas.
