The World’s First will be welcoming relegation rivals Frickley Athletic this Saturday in a crucial fixture (kick off 3pm)

 

Tuesday was a hard one to take, a much stronger performance and a result denied right at the death but we go onto the next one and improve.

Goals from Nathan Modest and Luke Rawson weren’t enough to give us the victory as Ify Ofoegbu scored in the 97th minute to give Ossett United the victory.

 

We welcome local rivals Frickley who showed a strong start to their season but have dropped over the last couple of months. This shows anything can happen in the league an we’re still in for a tough game on Saturday.

 

The last time these two sides faced was back in late 2020 in the second COVID hit season where we came out 2-1 victors with goals from Newsham and Cribley.

 

Cressy is looking at a fully fit squad however we’re still missing Harry Mitchell and Tiarnan O’Connor through suspension as they miss 3 games for straight reds.
