It’s the beginning of a double header week as we welcome Frickley Athletic to the Tuffnells Home of Football (kick-off 7:45pm)

 

Even though Saturday ended in defeat in Liversedge, there was a lot to go off from the performance considering a large amount of changes to the side. We certainly gave the 2nd placed side a game and we certainly could have nicked something.

 

Frickley started off the season very well and were sitting in the top half for a considerable amount of the season. However, fortunes have turned for our local rivals as they currently sit 14th in the league after a victory against fellow strugglers Bridlington Town last Saturday. 

 

We’ve yet to play Frickley this season due to multiple postponements but we’ve been in a division with them for a few years now and there have been some exciting games between the two sides over recent years. Our last bout against Frickley resulted us winning 2-1 in what would be our only victory last season before it became void.
