It comes to the last day as we travel to take on Pontefract as we rely on other results to prevent either relegation or a play-off (kick-off 3pm)

Monday just wasn’t good enough considering we’re fighting for survival. It was all to play for and we were only able to grab a draw on the day while relegation rivals Bridlington grabbed 3 points against now relegated Pickering Town. Let’s hope we can push ourselves to grab 3 points at Pontefract and that other results go our way.

Pontefract have had a resurgence of late, earlier in the season they were sat with us in the bottom part of the table but a string of strong results has seen them ensure survival in the Northern Premier League East Division.

Last time out against Pontefract showed a dominating performance from us as we beat the Colls 4-0 at the Tuffnells Home of Football Stadium. Goals came from Baxendale, Newsham, Coleman and a 45 yard screamer from Harry Mitchell.
