John Bennett:
' I'm delighted and honoured to be taking over at Sheffield FC Woman, the club along with the history and tradition makes the project here all the more exciting. I will be building the team and the woman's section over the next few years with the aim of being very competitive as well as bouncing back, whilst providing a long-term sustainability so they can thrive and develop further in the years to come'
John will be adding his own backroom team and will be announced soon.
Richard Sheldon (SFC General Manager) added:
' I am delighted to announce John as new manager of Sheffield FC Women. John brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as we look to bounce back and hit the ground running after what has been a difficult season in 21-22 returning to complete our first season since 18-19.
I would also like to thank Graham and Andrea for their tireless hard work and commitment last season both on and off the field. Their dedication and effort in developing a very young team in a tough division was second to none. Thank you'
