GRAHAM ABERCROMBIE NAMED INTERIM SHEFFIELD FC WOMEN MANAGER

Graham Abercrombie has been appointed interim Women’s First Team Manager for the foreseeable whilst The Club starts to search for Matt Chatfield’s permanent successor.
Abercrombie’s managerial roles have included stints at Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and West Bromwich Albion. At West Brom he won the Women's Premier League Tier 3 and Birmingham County Cup double in 2016. He has been international development coach for Chelsea as well, working in China, India and the United States.
Currently, he is head of community for Sheffield FC, the world's first football club, and will be continuing in that role alongside his new managerial responsibilities.
“It’s great to be back in the saddle for Sheffield FC Women.” Said Abercrombie.
“Incredible and positive response from all of the players last week at training and on Sunday to get 3 points.
“However long or short the journey is together, we’ll all be working harder than ever.”
