The Directors of Sheffield F.C. announce the departure of Richard Tims from the Board. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Richard for his dedication and invaluable contributions over the past 27 years. His efforts have been instrumental in shaping the club into what it is today, and without his commitment, Sheffield F.C. would not be in the position it holds, with 168 years of continuous history.

Also departing from the Board is Jim Harrison, who deserves recognition for his unwavering support and generous financial contributions to Sheffield F.C. over many years, including a period during which he played a pivotal role in advancing our ladies' team to what is now the Women's Super League (WSL).

In light of this news, Rob Hand has been appointed as the new CEO of Sheffield F.C., effective immediately. The Board has also agreed to extend the contracts of Manager Vill Powell and Assistant Manager Louis Axcell, ensuring their continued leadership until the end of the 2025/2026 season.

Furthermore, we would like to update you on the ongoing refurbishment of our Dronfield ground. As part of this project, a new pitch will be laid during the summer to guarantee that the club has the best possible playing surface for the upcoming seasons. This is a key part of our long-term plans, which include the proposed development of a new stadium.

Regarding the new ground, we are actively engaged in discussions with Sheffield City Council about the development plans for our future stadium. We remain committed to ensuring that the new facility will meet the club's long-term needs and further enhance our standing within the community.

We appreciate your continued support and will keep you informed as these developments progress.
