The World’s First travel down to Worksop Town again to replay last month’s fixture (kick off 7:45pm)

 

Last Saturday was a kick start to a tough run of fixtures for Club as we battled our in a tough match against high flyers Cleethorpes Town where we narrowly lost 1-0 in a brutal fixture.

 

Our hosts have been sitting near the top most of the season but were handed defeat at the weekend to local rivals Stockbridge Park Steels. Both teams will be looking to bounce back, especially Club who need the points.

 

Last time the two sides competed were last December where Worksop were leading 2-1, with Ashton Hall scoring for us but the game was abandoned after 46 due to a serious injury to a Worksop Town player.

 

Cressy is looking at a fully fit squad for the upcoming fixture this Tuesday as we look to bounce back from Saturday’s defeat.
