As part of #theworldsfirst strategy to develop and improve our fan experience, we are proud to have launched our very own integrated e-ticket service.
Since March and the early end to the 19/20 season, we have all faced a number of tests on a broad scale. Committed to a safe return to football for not just our teams but also our fans, this allows our supporters to plan ahead to attend games without the need for exchanging cash on the day.
With Covid-19 attendance restrictions, this allows Club supporters to be confident they have a guaranteed ticket and saves the need to have to provide track and trace details on the day by pen and paper, again reducing the potential risk.
Richard Sheldon (GM): ” Online ticketing is something we have being looking at for a while to improve our fan experience. Since March, we have seen some very difficult times, it has affected us all and brought to the forefront just how important it is for us to change our habits to protect the health of not just ourselves but others.
Our new online ticketing platform allows our supporters and away fans to plan ahead and be confident that they have a ticket before travelling as clubs are now face reduced attendances through Covid-19 restrictions issued by the DCMS.
Arriving at a game without the need to use cash also eliminates an extra risk through currency exchange as well as safely providing track and trace details to the club without the need for pen and paper.
This also allow our matchday team to plan and deliver a safe experience.”
