Leeds United College is partnering with the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the United Kingdom and Sheffield FC, the world’s oldest football club, to celebrate Qatar National Sport Day 2020 in Sheffield.
The collaboration, that is centred around Qatar National Sport Day, aims to create a positive lifestyle, encourage physical activity and provide opportunities to widen the skills-set of those who may not always get the opportunity to do so.
Over 250 children will attend the Qatar National Sport Day celebrations at the English Institute of Sport (EIS) in Sheffield on Wednesday 12th February from 10am to 2:30pm. Throughout the day, there will be a variety of multi-sports stations for pupils to have taster sessions from staff of EIS, Leeds United College and Sheffield FC.
His Excellency the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the UK Yousef Al Khater: “The Embassy of the State of Qatar to the UK is proud to be collaborating and partnering with Leeds United and Sheffield FC Foundation to celebrate Qatar National Sport Day in Sheffield.
