Sheffield FC wrapped up their 2019 pre-season campaign, with a 6-3 goalfest over Leipzig friends SV Lipsia 93, in what could only be described as a zesty contest between two adventurous and attacking sides.
Club took the lead in the 6th minute, after Mitchell Dunne broke down the left hand side, with the ball breaking kindly for Alex Wonham to slot home at the back post.

On 17 minutes a bit of slack defending allowed Lipsia to score on their first attack, and opening on the left found Christopher Pokowietz in space, Maximilian Premßler having the simplest of tasks of tapping in the lanky striker’s pass across the goal.
The Germans took the lead on 36 minutes, again generous defending allowed a ball behind a static backline, with Premßler remaining calm to roll the ball around trialist keeper Jacob Carney.
Their lead lasted a matter of seconds, as a quick attack was only part cleared by the Lipsia defence, and Michael Williams slamming home the ball from the edge of the area.
It was 3-2 to the English just before the break, as Mitchell Dunne took the ball down, kept to the right side of his man and slotted home really well to put Club ahead once more.
The scoring restarted in the 66th minute, again Mitchell Dunne the scorer, who turned the ball home following a period of sustained pressure.

It was 5-2 three minutes later, a corner breaking for Bradley Beatson to loft the ball over Sascha Gerstenberger to cross the line, with Marc Newsham slamming home to make sure.
Moments later came the goal of the game, Max Stöckmann picking the ball up thirty yards from goal before letting fly, Dylan Parkin having no chance as the shot nestled in the top corner.
The scoring was completed in stoppage time from the penalty spot, Lucian Unger handling the ball in the area, with Mitchell Dunne slotting into bottom of the net to make it 6-3.
