Sheffield FC is delighted to announce a new partnership with Pagets Builders Merchants, who have agreed to sponsor one of the Club’s junior girls teams this season.
Pagets is an independent builder’s merchant, with a reputation for offering first class customer service to the building trade and the general public in Sheffield and the surrounding area.
Formed in 1957, exactly 100 years after Sheffield FC, Pagets was acquired by the current owners in 1975 and started trading from Infirmary Road, expanding to a much larger site at Broadfield Road in the 1980s. Pagets now trades from both sites, offering a diverse range of construction products to the local building trade and the general public.
The business has been in the family of current owner, Belinda Anglin, for over 40 years. Anglin’s youngest daughter is a keen footballer and represents Sheffield FC, the World’s First Football Club, at U18s level.
Helen Mitchell, Women’s General Manager at Sheffield FC, explained the value of the partnership with Pagets:
“We’re thrilled to develop a relationship with Pagets, and look forward to working with the company going forward. Developing partnerships with Sheffield businesses is vital for the Club to continue to deliver its ethos of providing football for all. There is a good synergy between Pagets and Sheffield FC, and we look forward to developing the relationship going forward. ”
The partnership has paid for two new kits for the team (pictured) which display the Pagets company logo.
