INFORMATION FOR NEW SUPPORTERS AND AWAY FANS
Here is some information to help you plan and enjoy your visit to The World’s First Football Club.
Getting to the Stadium

Travelling by car or motorbike:
From the north
Take M1 to J33 then exit onto A630 towards Sheffield. Take exit for Sheffield Ring Road (A6102) and follow to 3rd roundabout, taking first exit onto A61 towards Chesterfield. At next roundabout take 2nd exit onto Sheffield Road B6057(to the left of the Bowshaw Inn). After 0.6 miles ground is on right hand side.
From the south
Take M1 to J29 then exit onto A617 towards Chesterfield. At roundabout take 2nd exit towards Chesterfield/Matlock/A632 (staying on A617)
After 5 miles take 4th exit at roundabout onto A61 then head through Chesterfield staying on A61 for 7.2 miles going through 2 roundabouts (You we be on Unstone-Dronfield Bypass) You will see ground on right hand side (ground may be obscured) then at next roundabout take 3rd exit onto Sheffield Road B6057(heading back on yourself). After 0.6 miles ground is on right hand side.
There is a car park with space for about 75 cars. There is usually a charge of £1 for parking. A car park steward will show you where to park your vehicle. If there is no car parking at the ground there is plenty of on street parking available a short walk away from the stadium.
Disabled parking facilities
There are a limited number of parking spaces for disabled supporters near the turnstiles. If you need assistance please make this known to a member of the turnstile staff and we will give all the assistance you need.
If you travel by bicycle, please come to the rear of the stadium and we will make arrangements to lock up your bike.
Please note that all vehicles or bikes and any property left in or with them, on Club property are left at owners risk.
Travelling by Public Transport
The nearest train station is Dronfield (DRO) This is 15 minutes walk away from the ground, along the main Sheffield Road.
The station is served by Northern Rail with services operating between Nottingham and Leeds and direct connection to Chesterfield and Sheffield.
Buses 43, 43A, 44 and 44A operate between Sheffield and Chesterfield. There are sheltered bus stops very close to the ground on Sheffield Road. You can get an up to date timetable at this address:
Entry to the stadium:
Normally we have one turnstile open, and this is located on the Sheffield Road side of the ground at the end of the Pub Car Park furthest point from the pub. At busy times, another two turnstiles can be opened, they are in the same place.
First team: Normally £8 for Adults and £4 Concessions.
Ladies First Team: Normally £tbc Adults and £ tbcConcessions
Under 21 Development Team: £3 adults; £2 concessions
Concessionary admission is available to customers aged over 65, children under 18, and holders of NUS cards
Sometimes we offer free admission to children and make other special offers, please watch out for these on the website.
We produce a full colour, award-winning match-day programme for first team and ladies first-team games, priced at £2. This is available either at the turnstile or just as you enter the stadium.
Our Club shop sells Club branded clothing and souvenirs and is located to the left of the turnstiles as you enter the ground.
The snack bar is located a few yards from the entrance and serves hot food and hot and cold drinks, sweets and chocolate bars. The snack bar gets very busy just before half-time and there can be a longish queue.
The Coach & Horses Pub is open before, during and after the game and serves a wide range of Thornbridge Ales, Lagers and Ciders, and also offers meals and bar snacks. Why not make an experience of it and book a meal before the game; the pub phone number is 01246 413269
We ask supporters not to bring bottles, glasses or cans into the Stadium. Anyone so doing will be asked to consume the drink outside the ground and return glassware etc., to the Pub.
There is one main stand with seating accommodating 250 supporters, and a covered standing area. There is uncovered standing all the way around the stadium, except for the space between the Home and Away dugouts.
We ask all supporters to Respect the players, officials and supporters of both teams and of course the match officials.
