First Team vs. Loughborough Dynamo (4 : 0)
Evo-Stik League East Division
Third placed Sheffield FC made easy work of mid-table Loughborough at The Coach and Horses on Saturday, as they ran out convincing 4-0 winners.
Club took an early lead in the 3rd minute, as debutant keeper Rudolfs Soldha made a horrific howler, dropping a simple cross with Marc Newsham driving home from a yard out.
The second came midway through the first half, as James Gregory dived in at the back post, notching up his 50th goal in Sheffield colours.
Sheffield all but wrapped up the contest four minutes after the restart, Soldha dropping another routine cross, with Newsham hooking home his second to make it 3-0.
Newsham should have wrapped up his hat-trick, however Dynamo were rescued by the post, as the Sheffield striker struck the woodwork after being put through one-on-one.
It was 4-0 on 76 minutes, as man of the match Luke Rawson got his just desserts, after a solo run and finish from a tight angle wrapping up the scoring.
