In form Leek Town put a fatigued Sheffield FC side to the sword on Saturday, running out 4-0 winners.

Leek broke the deadlock on 39 minutes, as a Niall Maguire shot was deflected onto the bar, with Tim Grice quickest to react with a header into the empty net. 

Sheffield were caught short at thre back just on half time, with a Leek break from a defensive corner finding Rob Stevenson in space on the right, who was able to coolly curl the ball into the far corner. 

It was three shortly after the break, as Sheffield failed to clear their lines, and after a goalmouth clearance Dan Trickett-Smith drove the ball home through the mêlée.

The fourth came in the 84th minute, with Trickett-Smith the provider with a great cross, picking out the head of Mat Bailey who powered home to put the game out of reach.
