Sheffield FC made it three wins in a row on Thursday, beating Kidsgrove Athletic 3-2, effectively making them safe from any relegation fears. 

The home side took the lead in the 25th minute of the game through James Gregory, Gregory made a good run with the ball and ran straight at Charlie Duke. Dave Parton decided to come off his line and help Duke out, Gregory saw him off his line and placed the ball into the far corner away from Parton to put his side up.

Kidsgrove responded well to conceding the goal, in the 29th minute Grove midfielder Eric Graves received the ball at the edge of the box and fired the ball past the goalkeeper to equalise.
Club started the second half more brightly had plenty of possession and Parton was the busier of the two goalkeepers.

Grove took the lead on 65 minutes as Charlie Duke whipped in a good ball into the box which was brought down by Beaumont, Beaumont’s header found Diskin who blasted the ball into the net and gave Kidsgrove the lead.

The home side made it 2-2 in the 73rd minute through Adam Chapman, Chapman had a free header and put the ball past Parton.

In the closing minutes of the game the home side nicked all three points. A corner was whipped in and cleared by the Kidsgrove defence only to find Ben Turner who was 25 yards away from goal, Turner took a touch and smashed the ball into the net to make it 3-2 to the hosts.
